Approved Public Hearing Minutes

 August 25, 2008

Attending: Mayor-Duane Bromeland; Council Members-Bob Evans, Heather Anderson, Randy Halverson and Bob Loge; City Clerk-Judy Johnson; also in attendance Joe Bromeland-City attorney.

Mayor Duane Bromeland called the public hearing to order at 7 p.m.

The purpose of the public hearing was to consider an amendment to Ordinance Chapter 600.  The amendment would be to consider the request by Jacob and Heather Anderson to include their property in the Rural Service District.  Discussion followed.  There being no objections to the public hearing and consideration of including the property, motion was made by Bob Evans, 2^nd by Randy Halverson to include the Anderson property.   Motion carried.  Council member Heather Anderson abstained from voting.  Clerk Johnson gave copies of a preliminary budget to the Council to review before the September meeting. 

Motion was made by Randy Halverson to adjourn the meeting, 2^nd by Bob Loge.  Motion carried.
