Classes of 1964 Welcomes All FHS Graduates to their  Reunion September 4, 2004!
Hosted by the Class of 1964, all FHS graduates are invited to join the celebration - along with anyone else interested in being part of the event. Friends will gather beginning at 5:30 p, Saturday, September 4, at the Viking Community Center (former school gym). Dinner will be served at 6:30. Richard (T.J.) Johnson will be grilling and Julie Halverson will be serving the rest of the meal. 

Register by sending a check for $10 per person (payable to Class of 1964) to Mary Hogstad at 48873  60th Street, Frost 56033. Please register by August 25 and indicate your dinner choice: steak or chicken. This will be a very casual evening, lots of visiting, maybe a bit of Karaoke. BYOB. Soda, water and coffee available.

FHS Class of '54 Holds Two Reunions
In an effort to cover all the bases, and make sure we did it up right, the Class of '54 held two 50th Class Reunions. The first reunion was held in Branson, MO the weekend of December 5, 2003 and the second reunion was held at Dillan's Restaurant in Albert lea on May 15, 2004. A good time was held by all at BOTH REUNIONS.

Twelve of the 19 surviving classmates in attendance at the Albert Lea reunion were: Don Amundson, Blue Earth; Ernie Anderson, St. Peter; Ila (Anderson) Quade, Albert Lea; Arlene (Brooks) Voecks, Wells; Myrna (Ferley) Sorenson, Kiester; Carrie (Henderson) Koestler, Wells; Bill Holmseth, Oshkosh, WI; Naomi (Kittlesen) Van Domelen, Newton, MA; Rochelle (Lunning) and Woody Langsev, Bricelyn; Jerry Sather, Princeton; and Darlene (Thompson) Kriewall, Burnsville.

People attending the Branson reunion, who were unable to be in Albert Lea included: Beverly (Amundson) Anderson, Rake, IA; Audrey (Erdahl) Brideson, Cottage Grove; Naomi (Hanson) LaTourell, Ely; Dorie (Nelson) Oswald, Mt. Ida, AR; and Robert Thompson, Littleton, CO.

Frost High School Classes of 1943 & 1944 Return to Frost!
The Frost High Class of 1943 celebrated their 60-year class reuninon in Frost on September 10. There were 13 graduates in 1943. The eleven surviving members attending were: Bille (Savick) Childs, Armstrong, IA; Harold Farnes, Waconia; June (Johnson) Kitzmann, Stewartville; Wesley Skaden, Blue Earth; Jim Geiselhart, Muscatine, IA; Gene Nodland, Frost; Leona (Ehrich) Harpestad, Wells; Palmer Midthun, Bricelyn; Gladys (Nimz) Hanson, Lyle; Anna Mae (Zupp) Feigal, Coon Rapids; and Bob Maland, St. Peter.

The classes of 1943 and 1944 have been meeting together for a number of years and the members of the class of 1944 attending the reunion were: Clem Gronfor, Anoka; Albert Fenske, Blue Earth; Vivian (Hanson) Midthun, Bricelyn; Winston Tagatz, Blue Earth; Edna (Twedt) Anderson, Bricelyn; and Ruth (Fosness) Thompson, St. Cloud.

The reunion was held from 3 to 9 pm with a buffet dinner served at 6 pm. It was a very special evening where old friends met once again.--Jim Geiselhart

Also attending were former teachers Jean Yeager, Marlys Meyer and Phil Peters.
